Supporting Health in Haitian Communities in the Bateyes of the Dominican Republic (2023)
In 2023, mobile clinics provided essential healthcare services to Haitian communities in the bateyes of the Dominican Republic, including medical consultations, screenings, and medication distribution. Health promotion activities also raised awareness about hygiene, disease prevention, and nutrition.
A survey conducted in Batey Cabreto (3 localities) and Batey El Naranjo (5 localities) assessed the living conditions of children under 18. The findings highlighted key challenges related to healthcare, education, and housing.

“Ronde des Enfants” is a children’s club established by the Directorate of Education to help shape the citizens of tomorrow in Haiti and their communities. It promotes learning, strong values, and civic engagement through educational and recreational activities.
